Mahmood started his professional career after training under the World Bank’s State Bank Officer Training scheme and serving in the State Bank of Pakistan as a regulator for Banks and FI. As an experienced financial service executive, he has held multiple positions as CEO, COO, Director, and Managing Director of different Financial Institutions in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. In the last 7 years, Mahmood co-founded a fully authorized EMI in the UK and launched a consumer and corporate debit card program. In 2019 he sold the company to eToro Group and now as Managing Director of eToro Money (part of eToro Group), he works towards launching a multi-currency pan European debit card program with full banking functionalities.
