Naved is the Head of India & South Asia at MoneyGram International. Naved Ashraf is responsible for managing the Moneygram business for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives.

With over 20 years of rich experience, Naved has domain expertise across the Money Transfer, Payments and Telecom industries .Prior to Moneygram, Naved was the Director & Head of Alternate Channels at FirstData India (Now FiServ).

He has a vast experience in the cross-border remittance industry having worked with Western Union for 10 years across India and South Asia in various roles. His last role at WU was that of Senior Country Manager & Head Rest of South Asia.

Naved began his career as a Management Trainee in 2000 with the Telecom Operator Koshika Telecom Ltd. He subsequently worked for the next 8 years in the Telecom domain with companies like Hutchison Essar, Tata Teleservices and Idea Cellular Ltd, managing diverse portfolios.Naved is a graduate in commerce from Lucknow University and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies & Research, A.M.U.

Naved lives in Gurgaon, with his wife, son and daughter.
